How do I reset my Solar Regulator?

Your solar regulator takes power from the solar panel and from the battery connected to it. 

Please follow these steps:

1. Remove the positive feed from the controller that comes from the solar panel and the positive feed for battery 1 and battery 2 (if it is a 2 battery system).

2. Ensure all lights are out and the controller is off. Leave for 30 seconds.

3. Reconnect the positive feed from the Solar panel

4. Reconnect the positives for battery 1 and (battery 2 if fitted)

This will reset the controller to it’s default state and should start to charge battery 1 (Leisure battery).

If the controller shows an error on charging please check the inline fuse near your battery in the cable that comes from the controller. If this has popped, replace with the same rating and check that the error resets on the controller.

If your system is equiped with bluetooth, you can then connect to the app and check the status of charging and the supplies from the solar.
